Work in offline mode

Want to be independent?

In addition to the image file, each page (scan) should have one additional text file with the same name as the image and extension with the letter ‘w’ added. Thanks to this additional file, subsequent images are placed next to each other. How far apart is determined by the values in this file. The file is called ‘world file’ and is described e.g. here: World file In fact, for each subsequent image, only one value changes in the fifth (penultimate) line, specifying the distance from the beginning of the coordinate system (i.e., the first scan). Such files are created automatically in the cloud version of the application. If you work offline, you must create them yourself. When loading images, QGIS will ask about the coordinate system. Theoretically, any flat coordinate system can be specified. For example EPSG:404000. But if in the future the generated data would be sent to the cloud, it is better to provide the EPSG:3785 system to maintain compatibility with other data. Alternatively, you can create an additional file for each image by copying from the attached package called: [image name].jpg.aux.xml Then QGIS will not ask about the coordinate system. The file content is the same for each image.
